First tundra hike of the season.. Montgomery pass and beyond. Elevation: 11,560 feet.
Some friends from the office planned this trip a few weeks ago. Infact they have planned such trips for the whole season.
This being the first one, was a relatively easy one (Note the word "relatively" because it was not easy at all. Haha). One way, the hike was 3.2 miles. Out of 3.2 miles, 2 miles (upto the tree line) we had to snowshoe. There is still a ton of snow up there.
The views were breathtaking. I managed to take a few pictures while keeping up with the group.
By the time I reached home, I was sore waist down. I hope I'd be in the condition to go to the office tomorrow ;)
